The presented equivalence key is used by the Oldenburg Dutch Studies Department when recognising academic achievements at Dutch universities. It is based on the KMK recommendation from 2010, which equates a German 1.0 with a Dutch 9.

This grade equivalence applies to all students who are abroad from summer semester 2014 onwards. For all students who were abroad in winter semester 2013/14 and earlier, the old grade equivalence applies.
