Negative stress is a widespread risk factor, especially in the modern working world, which can also contribute to the development of cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure. The earlier stress symptoms are recognised, the more effectively they can be counteracted and the health risk reduced.
To determine the current stress level, the heart rate is measured for two minutes at rest in a seated position using a high-resolution ECG device. Based on the so-called heart rate variability (time sequence of the individual heartbeats), a stress index is determined, which provides information about possible deviations in heart activity from the normal state. Based on the results, a discussion is held with the expert conducting the session, which focuses on sensitising participants to their own stress experience and promoting individual skills for coping with stress. Participants receive easy-to-implement tips and quickly learn effective exercises for stress regulation that can also be used in the workplace.
The check-up takes about 20 minutes. The measurement is carried out using sensors on the skin on the wrist and ankle, so you should avoid wearing tights.
Please note: When the invitation is sent out two weeks before the appointment, you will receive a link to the provider. You can then register there for the specific time slot you require for the health check.
