Focus on heart health
Our heart works 24 hours a day without a break. It supplies our organs with oxygen and nutrients and thus ensures our survival. It is therefore the "engine of life" and should be well protected. However, an unhealthy lifestyle with too little exercise, the wrong diet, smoking or high levels of stress often lead to the first health problems, which can result in chronic illnesses, heart attacks or strokes. Cardiovascular diseases have long been the leading cause of death in Germany.
All employees from science and administration are invited to take part in lectures, workshops, exercise programmes and check-ups from March to June as part of the "Heart Health" focus topic. Registration is possible now by clicking on the events. We hope you enjoy taking part, gain exciting new impressions and have a stimulating exchange!
The offers will be expanded over the next few weeks, so it's worth checking the programme regularly. We will also inform you about the programme in our newsletter. Please register using the registration form on the left.
