In addition to risk factors that cannot be influenced, such as age and gender, there are many aspects of cardiovascular disease prevention that we can control ourselves (e.g. exercise, alcohol consumption, high blood pressure). It is therefore always worth taking a professional look at your current state of health and possible changes to your habits.
In this approx. 20-minute check-up, our company doctors Caroline Bek and Rieke Ernst carry out a brief assessment of individual heart health:
- The body mass index (BMI) is calculated: Obesity and especially visceral fat (abdominal fat) are considered risk factors for the cardiovascular system
- Blood pressure is measured: High blood pressure is often present without any other symptoms, but can, for example, lead to atherosclerosis and heart disease. High blood pressure is often present without any other symptoms, but can lead to atherosclerosis and thus to a stroke or heart attack, for example
The values obtained and possible approaches to change are then discussed together and you have the opportunity to clarify questions about heart health.
Note: After successful registration, please keep the time slot from 09:30 - 11:00 free, you will receive an assignment to a binding time slot in good time before the appointment.
