Heart attacks and strokes can affect any of us, regardless of age. It is therefore important to be able to recognise symptoms and react correctly. This compact first aid course is therefore dedicated to symptom-orientated measures for acute illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular disorders.
Participants will learn how to recognise the general signs of acute illnesses and, at the end of the course, will know the first aid measures that are always correct in these cases. Recognisable signs include, for example, disturbance of consciousness, respiratory disturbance, (severe) pain, anxiety, restlessness, cold sweats.
Other contents of the workshop include making an emergency call, caring for the affected person, the recovery position and resuscitation with and without the use of a defibrillator.
The compact course includes a high proportion of practical exercises.
