We are delighted that you are interested in a Master's degree programme at the University of Oldenburg!
On this page we provide information on how to apply with a German university entrance qualification or a first German university degree. Prospective international students please use the information on applying for a Master's programme with an international degree.
Application for the summer semester 2026
The application deadlines for the following Master's degree programmes have already expired:
- Master's degree programmes with restricted admission
- part-time Master's degree programmes
- Master of Education degree programmes for the higher semester
Applications are no longer possible for these programmes!

An application to the Master of Education for the 1st semester is only possible for the winter semester!

Be aware of application deadlines
The University of Oldenburg must receive a complete application from you by 12 midnight of the last day of the applicable deadline. The date of the postmark will not be taken into account.
Please observe the possibilities for submitting documents within the deadline!
Important note!
External applicants must re-register for each procedure.
For students of the University of Oldenburg with Stud.IP access (abcd1234), no new registration is required. Please log in to Stud.IP . Under 'Study details' (top bar) you can access the administration of your student data, under 'Degree programmes' you can apply directly for the degree programme of your choice.
