The Y model

As part of the co-operation with the University of Sophia Antipolis in Nice in the south of France, students on the BA WiWi (Economics) degree programme are offered a study programme leading to both the French Bachelor's degree (Licence) and the German Bachelor's degree.

If they are sufficiently qualified, students can then complete a Master's degree either in Nice or in Oldenburg in two further years of study (Y model). This flexible Y-programming leads to a doubling of the chances of participating in a Master's programme due to the co-operation between the two universities.

The number of participants for the Franco-German programme is limited to 15 to 20 students.
