The works group is actively involved in university policy and represents the interests of all employees.
It brings the union to the university and the university to the union, i.e. in concrete terms: we are in close contact with our ver.di colleagues, the Office for University and Trade Union Co-operation, trade unions and other stakeholders.
The works group elects the organisation team from its ranks and decides which members run for the Staff Council and the University Senate on the ver.di lists. The works group therefore also appoints the committee representatives.
