HGAS - University group of foreign students at the University of Oldenburg
A warm welcome! Welcome!
The HGAS represents the interests of all international students at the University of Oldenburg. Every international student automatically becomes a member of the HGAS through enrolment and has the opportunity to organise various events on the social, cultural and political situation of his/her home country within the framework of the HGAS.
What does HGAS do?
The HGAS represents the interests of international students in all matters. This applies in particular to issues relating to immigration and work permit law, but also to higher education policy matters specific to international students.
- The HGAS regularly advises and provides information to international students at Carl von Ossietzky University.
- The HGAS organises seminars and events on international political issues.
- The HGAS supports international students with their projects and events.
- The student representative body offers referral advice for international students and fosters relationships between international and German students and members of the public.
