Science communication

Making research understandable

Content and results from research as well as scientific approaches and methods must be communicated correctly, comprehensibly and in a way that is appropriate for the target group via various media. This task is performed by science communication, which has itself become established as an exciting field of research. In this module, the relationship between science, the public and the media is examined in various facets. The focus is on digital media. The design and development of communication concepts in and for universities and scientific institutions will be analysed on the basis of best practice and participants' own examples. Theoretical and methodological principles form the basis for this.
