University and science management

Shaping academic and scientific organisations strategically

The module teaches essential skills for managing and shaping universities and academic institutions. Successful interventions are based on an understanding of academic and scientific structures and processes. Participants learn how the relevant actors, interest groups and organisational units interact. Management fields covered include internationalisation, quality management, transfer and digitalisation. In these areas, the participants develop options for action for specific problems.
