Fit for the digital economy
The programme combines the three modules Digitalisation in Companies, Intelligent Data Management and Digital Business Models. It provides you with the skills and expertise to initiate the digital transformation of a company, utilise big data and develop disruptive business ideas. The programme is completed in three semesters and concludes with the internationally recognised Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS).
Digitalisation in companies
In the Digitalisation in companies module, you will learn how companies can become successful with digital change. You will learn how to develop and implement a digitalisation strategy, how to successfully transform a company and the potential of innovative technologies such as AI and robotics. You will be able to initiate digital products and services and utilise the platform economy.
Intelligent data management
The Intelligent Data Management module focuses on analysing and using large data sets. Data mining processes and statistical principles are covered as well as methods, technologies and the legal framework for data analysis. In the module, you will learn about the opportunities and problems of big data - from industry to the Internet of Things.
Digital business models
The Digital Business Models module prepares you for digital business. You can develop your own disruptive business ideas and analyse and design digital business models. It also looks at how processes in existing companies can be developed, for example with a better customer journey and digital touchpoints.
The programme is aimed at professionals who work in the field of digital business management or would like to enter this field.
You can take the modules as certified further education or as part of the part-time Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration. A single module leads to a Certificate of Advanced Studies, while a combination of three modules leads to the Diploma of Advanced Studies. The certificates are fully recognised for the Bachelor's degree programme. So you can start your studies without enrolment!
