Fundamentals of Business Administration
Theory and practice of entrepreneurial action
The module gives you an understanding of the various organisational, technical and financial aspects of businesses. This will enable you to proceed systematically in practice in order to make rational business decisions. The first step is to determine the strengths, weaknesses and strategic business areas of a company. Objectives are then defined, operationalised and implemented along the operational value chain.
This module provides you with a basic overview: You will be familiar with legal forms and location selection, primary activities such as procurement, production and sales, as well as overarching topics such as digitalisation, sustainability and business ethics.
The module is suitable for anyone who wants to acquire basic business management theories to provide a foundation for entrepreneurial action. You can take it as certified further education or as part of the part-time Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration. It concludes with a Certificate of Advanced Studies. The certificate is fully recognised for the Bachelor's degree programme. So you can start your studies without enrolment!
