Curriculum vitae
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Andreas Rauh received his diploma degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany, in 2001, his PhD degree (Dr.-Ing.) from the University of Ulm (Institute for Measurement, Control and Microtechnology), Germany, in 2008, and his habilitation (Dr.-Ing. habil.) in Measurement Technology and Automatic Control from the University of Rostock (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology), Germany, in 2017.
After a one-year research stay at the École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées (ENSTA) Bretagne (Brest, France), Andreas Rauh was appointed Full Professor at the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany, where he is heading the group "Distributed Control in Interconnected Systems" at the Department of Computing Science. His research interests are state and parameter estimation for dynamic systems with stochastic and set-based uncertainties, reliable simulation as well as robust and optimal control. Moreover, he was member of an IEEE working group for the standardization of methods of interval arithmetic as a mathematical tool for automatic error estimation from 2008 to 2015.
