ATB workshop
At the ATB workshop, there is a hands-on programme in which robot arms are programmed in the context of simple pick & place tasks.
Chemol
At the ChemOL teaching and learning laboratory, participants can try out small experiments on the topics of fire, water and air. What and where is air? How hot is a flame and how can you even make it "jump"? Participants can also create works of art with water.
Ethics workshop
At the centre of the Ethics Workshop stand is the question: What does "justice" actually mean? What concepts of justice are there? And how do they shape our world view? Ideas of justice are to be built, discussed and reflected upon with the help of Lego in order to get to the bottom of the big question of justice.
Green school
At this stand, a puzzle will guide you through the diverse programme topics of the Green School.
Textile teaching and learning lab
The trousers have a hole, the button has come off or your favourite jumper is coming undone. The Textile Teaching-Learning Lab stand is all about our clothes and how we can use them for longer. We will be presenting simple repair examples and techniques with the Textile Ambulance. Embroidery, felting or sewing and, if you like, you can try your hand at using a sewing machine.
Computing Science Learning Lab:
Small robots and games will be programmed at the Computing Science Learning Lab stand. We also want to let our Ozobots (small robots) race. We also want to look at artificial intelligence in everyday life.
Elementary maths learning workshop
At the elementary maths stand, the NIM game is played on the iPad with interested parties: The basis is a playing field with 10 squares and two differently coloured pieces. Two parties play against each other (red against blue). The players take it in turns to place one or two tiles of their own colour on the board. Whoever can fill the last square with their colour wins.
OxLab
What do we actually know about our decision-making behaviour? How and by whom do we allow ourselves to be influenced and what does our subconscious have to do with everyday consumer decisions? In the OX-Lab (Oldenburg Experimental Laboratory for Economics Education), short decision-making experiments are used to simulate and reflect on influences on decisions in economically influenced life situations - true to the motto: study leads to trial and error.
physiXS
At the physiXS teaching and learning lab, you can find out everything astronauts need to know when they fly into space: What is a vacuum? What does a spacesuit need to be able to do? How does a rocket work? Here you can carry out experiments in a vacuum yourself and learn about rocket propulsion systems.
SULab science teaching laboratory
How does a robot know what to do? How did communication work 300 years ago? These and other exciting questions can be explored in the SULab.
Wadden Sea Laboratory
In the Wadden Sea laboratory, experiments are carried out on the colour of the sea and on currents in the sea and their influence on living creatures.
