The Centre for Lifelong Learning supports university institutions in achieving educational and continuing education goals. The diz exchanges information on continuing education programmes and cooperates with regard to media-supported events.

Kooperationsverbund Hochbegabung Oldenburg-Stadt (KVO)
The topic of giftedness has been a matter of public concern for years. In order to meet the special needs of gifted pupils, the Cooperation Network for Giftedness in Oldenburg was formed in 2004.
In general, the network distinguishes between general giftedness and partial giftedness, where abilities are present in special areas (e.g. maths or languages). Both types of giftedness are offered opportunities for support.

Oldenburg Regional Network (GHR 300)
The Oldenburg Regional Network is a cross-institutional committee that was established as part of the introduction of GHR 300. The committee is made up of regional representatives from the Lower Saxony State Education Authority, the study centres, schools and universities. It is coordinated and managed by the Didactic Centre.

Institute of Educational Sciences and Practical Philosophy (i-p4) in Bad Bederkesa
There is a co-operation between the diz and the i-p4 with regard to further training for teachers who accompany schools with the aim of school development. There are currently plans to qualify members of the school reform centre through i-p4.

Lower Saxony Association for Teacher Training
The association forms the platform for coordinating all issues that need to be clarified across all universities regarding teacher training. All teacher training universities in Lower Saxony and the ministries involved in teacher training are members of this body.

Lower Saxony internship supervisor meeting
The counterpart to the BaSS (see below) is the meeting of internship supervisors at state level. In Lower Saxony, the internship supervisors of the teacher training universities in Braunschweig, Göttingen, Hildesheim, Lüneburg, Oldenburg, Osnabrück and Vechta meet approximately once a quarter. In 2011, the circle was expanded to include the neighbouring Federal States of Bremen and Hamburg. In their meetings, the internship supervisors deal with issues such as the organisation of practical school studies in the Bachelor's/Master's structure, the involvement of schools or the topic of aptitude and potential for the teaching profession.

Service Agency for All-day Learning

As part of its networking activities for the promotion of all-day schools, the diz's School Reform Centre cooperates with the Service Agency for All-Day Learning in Lower Saxony. The co-operation includes the planning and moderation of network events and the organisation of joint events on the subject area.
