Diversity in the classroom = diversity in the staffroom!
The 2017 Orientation Days gave school pupils an insight into teacher training in relation to the issue of migration. During the two-day event, pupils had the opportunity to find out all about teacher training and the teaching profession.
Representatives from the Didactic Centre (diz), the Central Study Counselling Service, the Studentenwerk, the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Centre for Migration, Education and Cultural Studies, as well as practising teachers, offered a wide range of opportunities for discussion and exchange. During a school placement day, participants also visited schools in Oldenburg and were able to sit in on lessons.
