Educational week
Educational week
The active dialogue between theory and practice has been the hallmark of the Pedagogical Week for years. The events focus both on thinking about schools and ways to improve them in view of the constantly changing requirements - i.e. also on improving the link between university programmes and school practice. Every two years, teachers, educational staff, people interested in education and members from universities and colleges meet in Oldenburg for an intensive exchange of experiences.
The first day of the Pedagogical Week is characterised by the opening lecture and a subsequent get-together. The following days will be themed days, each of which will present a specific topic for teachers and other people interested in education. We want to introduce participants to innovative developments, new methods and success stories that they can transfer to their schools as multipliers.
In addition to the conference programme, there will be a large exhibition of teaching and learning materials, which is free of charge.
The Pedagogical Week is an event recognised by the regional state offices for schools and education as further training. Teachers and educational staff can be granted special leave on proposal if there are no official reasons to the contrary.
