Orientation days 2016
Diversity in the classroom = diversity in the staffroom!
During the orientation days ‘Diversity in the classroom = diversity in the staff room! Becoming a teacher’, held on 22 and 23 February 2016 at the University of Oldenburg, gave participating pupils the opportunity to gain an insight into teacher training in relation to the issue of migration.
Representatives from the Centre for Teaching and Learning (diz), the Central Study Counselling Service, the Studentenwerk, the Institute of Educational Sciences and the Centre for Migration, Education and Cultural Studies, as well as teachers currently working in schools, provided a wide range of opportunities for discussion and exchange. During a school placement day, the participants also visited schools in Oldenburg and were able to sit in on lessons.
