In the science podcast “Hirn gehört: Oldenburger Wissensschnack”, scientists from Oldenburg and the surrounding region “chat” about their research, their motivation, their best story or their favourite technical term.

The aim of the podcast is to showcase the wide variety of research taking place at the University of Oldenburg and other research institutions in the Oldenburg region, and to present it to the interested public in an entertaining format.

The scientists interviewed are presented in an accessible way to listeners; this helps to dispel any reservations or scepticism about research work and fosters trust in the region’s research institutions.

The podcast is hosted by Dr Bianca Brüggen and Dr Jens-Steffen Scherer.
