Determining the university biography URL for your organisational unit

• Open the following page in your browser: diglib.bis.uni-oldenburg.de/hsb/search
• Use the selection fields "School / Sonst. Einrichtungen", "Institut / Einrichtungen" (as well as "Fach / AG / Einrichtung" if applicable) and click on "Suchen".
• Adjust the URL in the URL line of the browser. If you want the headline "Search in the university bibliography" to be displayed, set the value for "headline" to "1".
• If you want to include the English-language version of the page, you must add the following to the URL: "&language=en".
• If you want to hide individual or all fields for the selection of organisational units (School, Institute, working group), proceed as follows:
  • Hide the School selection field: append "&hide_org_select=1" to the URL
  • To hide the School and Institute selection fields: append "&hide_org_select=2" to the URL
  • Hiding all selection fields: Append "&hide_org_select=3" to the URL
• Remove the character string 'http:' or 'https:' at the beginning of the URL.
• Copy the URL from the URL line

Insert iframe into your Typo3 page

Create a page in Typo3:

Save the page.

Open the page view in the menu on the far left by clicking on "Page":

Now create a new content element by clicking on the "+" button under "normal":

Now open the "Plug-ins" tab and select "HTML5 iframe" from the list of plug-ins:

In the plug-in window, select the "Iframe parameters" tab and enter the university bibliography URL you have just determined in the "URL" field:

Now open the "Settings" tab and enter the following values:
Width = "100%", Height = "4000px". (Note: 100% width works better on screens of different sizes than the 960px shown in the image).
Tick the "Seamless transition" box.

Save the page.

More space for the university bibliography on the website

In order to maximise the space on the website for displaying the university bibliography, the left-hand side column of the website can be hidden. This setting can be made by a TYPO3 administrator. To do this, send an email to the following address , stating the page number or the http address of the TYPO3 website whose appearance is to be changed:
