Dr Jan Geert Meents is one of the leading IT lawyers in Germany. He specialises in particular in the areas of digital transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and data protection.

He has been advising national and international companies on complex, strategic and innovative IT and technology projects for more than 25 years. This includes advising on some of the largest and most important outsourcing transactions and digital transformation projects of recent years.

Due to his outstanding expertise in these areas, he was appointed by the European Commission as a member of the Expert Group on Cloud Computing Contracts.
