Credo
Alongside singing and drums, flutes are the oldest instruments known to mankind and there are an infinite number of sizes and designs.
What particularly fascinates me about the recorder is its closeness to singing and breathing: the slightest changes in body tension, mouth area, but also articulation and dynamics have an immediate effect on the sound of the recorder, as a player I feel the breath and sound from head to toe and can express myself with my whole body.
The juxtaposition of old and new music is particularly appealing, as it leads us to a new, fresh way of listening - on the one hand, the further back we go into music history, the stranger and more novel the old works sound, and on the other hand, the collaboration with contemporary composers is very inspiring.
The audience embarks on an interesting journey of discovery in the field of tension between old and new - some new music sounds like old music, some old music all the more new...

- Concert activities as a soloist and chamber musician in the field of early and contemporary music in Germany and abroad with ensembles including Weser-Renaissance, Orlando di Lasso, Concerto Palatino, Concerto Brandenburg, Oh-Ton Oldenburg, the Hannoversche Hofkapelle and the orchestra of the Boston Early Music Festival
- Performances at Musikfest Bremen, Tage Alter Musik Herne, Innsbrucker Festwochen, Festival Musica Insieme Panicale in Umbria, International ERTA Congress Cologne, ERPS Biennale Zurich, Düsseldorfer Altstadtherbst, Tanner Musiksommer, Festival Vielsaitig Füssen, Bachhaus Eisenach, Händel-Haus Halle and as Bremen's cultural ambassador at the EinheitsEXPO Potsdam, among others
- Radio appearances on RAI, NDR, WDR, Deutschlandfunk and Radio Bremen
- Founding of the ensembles "Trio Viaggio", "Ensemble Passaggiata" and "Musikalisches Tafelkonfekt"; with these, lively concert activity, development of own programme concepts and moderation of concerts
- Conception and presentation of solo concerts in which music history and the history of the concert venue are combined
- Participation in opera productions at the Theater am Goetheplatz Bremen and the Staatstheater Oldenburg
