The founding of School VI - School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2012 paved the way for a unique project: University Medicine Oldenburg (UMO) with its cross-border study programme in Oldenburg and Groningen in the Netherlands.

School VI is the youngest faculty at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and consists of the Department of Human Medicine, the Department of Medical Physics and Acoustics, the Department of Neurosciences, the Department of Psychology and the Department of Health Services Research. It pursues an international orientation in studies, teaching and research and is networked with numerous renowned co-operation partners worldwide.

These activities are embedded in the internationalisation strategy of the University of Oldenburg, which promotes internationalisation at all levels of the university. Find out more at:
