Register for courses and workshops via Stud.IP. Please always use the same account.

Prevention / Cancellation: If you are prevented from attending a workshop, please cancel your registration by email, as it is technically not possible to unsubscribe on your own. This is the only way to enable people on the waiting list to move up.

  • OLTECH – Career paths in Science, Medicine and Technology - 18 November 2025 at 16:00 online BBB

    Guests: Dr Beena Punnamoottil
    Beena completed her PhD in 2008 in Oldenburg in the field of neuro- and developmental genetics.
    As part of her PhD she spent 2 years at the Sars International Center for Marine Molecular Biology in Bergen, Norway. Afterwards she went to the Brain and Mind Research Center in Sydney, Australia for 1 year. Upon her return to Germany in 2010, she started as a project manager at a contract research organization, Chimera Biotec GmbH, in Bremen. In 2020, she returned to the UOL as a research officer for medical research. In addition to her work at the UOL, she is involved in pharmaceutical cancer research as VP for global proteomics at the contract research organization Assay Engineers GmbH.

  • UMO Connect - Networking for doctoral candidates and postdocs at University Medicine Oldenburg, 19 November 2025 at 12:00 - 13:30 Interkultureller Treff (IKT)

    Guest: Dr. Beate Grünberg - The Power of Diversity: Intercultural awareness in teams 

    This event allows to connect with other fellow early-career researchers at UMO and engage in interdisciplinary exchanges about their experiences during their doctoral or postdoctoral phases. Each meeting begins with a 30-minute expert talk (mostly in English) on a topic relevant to these career stages, followed by informal discussions over a cup of coffee or tea.

    The Graduate Academy is the university's central interdisciplinary institution for the career development of doctoral candidates, postdocs and junior professors. 

  • English Language Courses

    With the programme english+ the Graduate Academy offers a comprehensive programme covering all aspects of scientific communication in English language for all early-career researchers of the University of Oldenburg.

  • School VI - Medicine and Health Sciences

    Qualification offers of the area „Research and Medicine” at School VI.

  • Didactics

    Certificate Programme Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

  • BYRD (University of Bremen) - Bremen Early Career Researcher Development

    Qualification offers by the partner institution of the Graduate Academy Oldenburg at the University of Bremen.

Our new OLTECH office is now located at W01A 1-105!

Directions: Enter through the main entrance and take the stairs on the left in front of the cafeteria. Then turn left into the hallway (Institute of Mathematics). At the very end of the hallway, you will reach wing W1A and find our office on the right-hand side.
