Research strand 1: Ceramics workshops with people living with endometriosis

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All persons who have already completed the online questionnairebefore 15 April 2026 are requested to contact the study management . There was a technical error that caused the data to be deleted. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Aim and research questions

The aim is to find out how people with endometriosis experience, interpret and cope with their condition and how they interact with the healthcare system:

  • How do people deal with their endometriosis disease?
What strategies of coping, self-care or resistance do they develop?
  • What are the (care) experiences of people living with endometriosis?
How is the disease perceived? What are the barriers to accessing diagnosis, treatment and support?
  • To what extent can an arts-based approach (arts-based research design) help to capture the individual experience?
Can creative work with clay help to make complex, often unspoken or difficult to name experiences visible and explorable?

Planned course of the project strand 1

The following illustration shows the entire project process.
