The courses running alongside the semester are not part of the university’s general programme of study, but are designed by the C3L – Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg itself. The seminars are predominantly led by external lecturers:

• Coromaldi, Evgenij, Dipl.-Med., lecturer in psychology on the Bachelor’s subject at the University of Bremen, as well as at the Academy for Further Education, which offers courses for older learners at the University of Bremen
  
• Dahlhoff, Marc, lecturer in philosophy and media, trainer, media educator specialising in digital ethics, author
  
• Dyckerhoff, Henriette, author, editor, lecturer in creative writing. Works as a freelance cultural professional for various institutions in the literary sector
  
• Lutkat, Sabine (M.A.), Master’s degree in Educational Science, German Studies and Psychology from the Free University of Berlin; works as a freelancer in adult education on fairy-tale topics and as a fairy-tale storyteller; President of the European Fairy-Tale Society since 2012
  
• Marr, Ann-Katrin, freelance journalist and cultural studies scholar, writes for various print and online media, particularly on literature, family, the environment and agriculture
  
• Müller, Bernd, Dr. phil., historian (Eastern Europe and the regional history of Oldenburg)
  
• Pastore, Pasqua, lecturer in Italian at the Language Centre of the University of Oldenburg
  
• Sander, Rüdiger, MA in History and Philosophy, Senior IT Consultant, Mediator, Qigong teacher – QFG Qigong Fachgesellschaft e. V.

• Scholz, Katrin, self-employed since 1996, previously working as a trainer and consultant for employers, organisations and educational institutions. Having completed a distance-learning course at the Academy of Naturopathy, she now works as a holistic consultant for nutrition and wellbeing in Rastede
  
• Schönbohm, Bärbel, art historian and art educator, managing director of the Delmenhorst Youth Art School, works on a freelance basis at the Kunsthalle Bremen, curator and author
  
• Stein, Detlef, works as a freelance art historian and educator for the Kunsthalle Bremen, lecturer, curator and author
  
• Strübind, Kim, Dr, PhD in Old Testament Studies; long-standing head of a research group at the Kirchliche Hochschule Berlin; from 2007 to 2014 interim professorship in Old Testament Studies at the CvO University in Oldenburg; until his retirement, research fellow in the Old Testament subject, Hebrew and Jewish Studies
