The Northwest German Functional Analysis Colloquium was founded in 1985. In recent years, it has been organised by the universities of Bielefeld, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg-Essen, Münster, Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Paderborn and Wuppertal in alternating years.
The 44th meeting will take place on Saturday 10 May 2025 at the University of Oldenburg (in room W1 0-015 on the Wechloy campus), approx. 10 am - 5 pm.
Overview : This workshop will explore recent developments in calculus of variations and PDEs, focusing on the areas: spectral theory, nonlocal operators, and functional inequalities.
The scientific programme will occupy three full days, 22-24 July. It is expected that most participants arrive on July 21 and depart on July 25. If you are interested and want to participate in this workshop, please send an email to firoj.sk@uol.de
This is a joint, local workshop of groups at the Universities of Groningen and Oldenburg.

The workshop will be held at the Bernoulli Institute of Mathematics, University of Groningen. The talks take place at the rooms FBG 5616.0125 and FBG 5616.0128 on Thursday and BB 5161.0267 on Friday.
The meeting is going to take place on October 2, 2024, in Oldenburg (Campus Wechloy, Room W4 1-162).

Travel information
The big university building at the Campus Wechloy has several parts named W1-W4, and it is surrounded by further smaller buildings called Wx or Wxx. The address of the whole campus is Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße 9-11, 26129 Oldenburg, Germany.
The campus map may be useful. There is a free car park in front of the building W15, and there is another free car park behind W32.
If you arrive by train to the Oldenurg central stattion "Oldenburg (Oldb)": take the bus 306 and go to the last stop "Universität/Wechloy" which is in front of the main entrance. The ticket can be bought from the bus driver (as of July 2024: 2,70 Euro, cash only).
If you arrive by train to the station "Oldenburg-Wechloy", you may simply walk to the campus (800 metres).
