On 24 and 25 February 2025, the kick-off meeting of the joint project "Digital Teaching Hub Lower Saxony" took place at the University of Osnabrück with around 75 participants.

A meeting place for co-operation and networking

The first day of the cooperation meeting was characterised by intensive get-to-know-you and networking sessions, in which those present laid the foundations for trust and future cooperation. The topics and activities of the individual sub-projects for the following day were also defined. The first day ended with a joint meal.

On the second day, the sub-projects came together in their individual orientations. A special highlight was the tour of the examination rooms at Osnabrück University for the sub-project "Clustered E-Assessment". There was also an interdisciplinary exchange between the sub-projects "AI in studies, teaching and examinations", "Service co-operation" and "Innovative teaching/learning tools". These three sub-projects exchanged views on cross-project topics that are sometimes important for efficiency, monitoring and ensuring the sustainability of the project as a whole.

Working together towards the goal

The kick-off meeting was not only a platform for detailed planning of the sub-project-specific ideas and strategies, but also a sign of the motivation and commitment of all those involved. The atmosphere was characterised by a cooperative spirit. By pooling resources and utilising the expertise of the respective universities in a targeted manner, the aim is for all universities to work together and benefit from each other, which should have a lasting effect beyond the duration of the project.
