• Gender relations in primary school and didactic perspectives for action (project leader: Prof. Dr Astrid Kaiser, research assistants: Karola Nacken, Dr Detlef Pech)

Conditions of gender-differentiated socialisation were analysed - e.g. by observing the interactions of boys and girls in the classroom - in order to find didactic and methodological points of reference for a pedagogy of equality, for example by developing gender-equitable interventions. Research into the conditions for non-stereotypical male socialisation processes was the focus of boy-friendly pedagogy. Numerous publications have emerged from these findings.
