Successful with LinkedIn and XING

  • As a graduate, how do I not only get a job, but also a job that suits me very well?
  • How can I use social networks for my self-marketing?
  • How do I build sustainable relationships during my studies so that I can quickly start my career afterwards?

As a possible answer to these questions, more and more students are using LinkedIn and XING to network with each other, find out about future employers and build relationships with them.
In this workshop you will learn how to continuously develop your presence in the business networks during your studies. Using the Life/Work Planning method according to Richard Nelson Bolles, you will practice how to establish offline contact with the employers of your choice and integrate them into your virtual network on LinkedIn and XING.

Find out how you can later use your profiles to start your career and then use them for your career or your own business. You can use simple means to improve your chances of getting started after your studies, get in touch with interesting people for internships or student-jobs and draw the attention of potential employers to you.
