Human resources management and leadership

Practical expertise for personnel management challenges

Recruiting, motivating, developing and managing staff - these are some of the key management tasks. The concept of how this is done - or rather, should be done - has evolved and changed significantly in recent decades. In addition to the employees themselves, personnel management or "leadership" and modern HR work are now regarded as important parameters for success. The often individual interpretation of these concepts is addressed, as are the characteristics, objectives and tasks of effective and contemporary personnel management. In addition to formal organisations, cultural phenomena are also examined.
