Innovation and sustainability

From the idea to sustainable success

The programme combines the three modules Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Management. It provides you with the skills and expertise to recognise market opportunities, implement business ideas and operate sustainably - in both established and newly founded companies. The programme is completed in three semesters and concludes with the internationally recognised Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS).

Innovation management

In the module innovation management module, you will learn how innovations can be systematically promoted and managed. You will learn what triggers and influences innovations in companies, what needs to be considered in co-operations and the special features of managing innovation processes.

Sustainability
management

In the module sustainability management module is about making companies sustainable - ecologically, socially and economically. Principles such as efficiency, consistency and sufficiency are analysed, as are concepts such as the green economy, circular economy and post-growth economy. On this basis, you will develop practice-orientated solution strategies.

Entrepreneurship

The module Entrepreneurship module teaches you how and why companies are founded. It deals with the competitive advantages that new companies have over established companies, which decision-making aids and legal regulations are important for start-ups and what needs to be considered when financing with venture capital.
