Are you interested in educational guidance?
At the Central Contact Point, we provide individual advice to qualified migrants, refugees and third-country nationals on their career opportunities. We assess your foreign qualifications and skills and work with you to develop a specific roadmap for the recognition of your qualifications, further education or study. From the very first steps right through to reviewing your results, we support you every step of the way on your educational journey in Germany. Please feel free to get in touch and we’ll arrange an appointment!
Last few places available on the supplementary programme
In August, it is still possible to apply at short notice for a place on the supplementary programme. The programme is aimed at international graduates (non-EU) seeking state recognition in social work or early years education.

P.p. On behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Social Affairs, HAWK (University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen) is working on the ‘Education Matrix’ – a new platform for career guidance aimed at those switching careers to work in (partially) residential youth care. The aim is to provide transparency regarding educational pathways and to tackle the shortage of skilled workers. The trial phase of the platform will begin in summer 2026.
