On Friday, 1 December 2017, two consecutive ceremonies were held to bid farewell to the graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes. A total of 104 graduates from the M.Ed. degree programmes in Primary and Secondary School, Realschule, Gymnasium and Special Education were bid farewell at both ceremonies.

After the welcoming address by Prof. Dr Kyora, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Dr Ralph Schwarzkopf, Vice Director of the Didactic Centre, congratulated all graduates. Hildegard Käter, Head of Education at the Osnabrück Teacher Training Centre, gave the speech at the graduation ceremony for primary, secondary and intermediate schools. Anke Hinderks, former graduate of the "Master of Education" for the teaching profession at grammar schools with the subjects German and religion, held the festive speech of the graduation ceremony of the school types grammar school and special education.

Aeilt Poppinga, as alumni representative, and Maja Harel, as representative of the student body, brought the events to a close.

The Trésalle Trio provided the supporting musical programme and also played again at the drinks reception in the foyer afterwards.
