A total of 93 graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes for primary and secondary schools, secondary modern schools, grammar schools and the M.Ed. in Special Education received their certificates in the Audimax on Friday.

After Prof. Dr Gunilla Budde, Vice-President for Studies and Teaching, gave a welcoming address, Prof. Dr Martin Butler, Vice-Director of the Didactic Centre, congratulated all graduates. Mrs Sigrid Heinze, head of the Syke (GHR) study seminar, and André Hesse, M.Ed. Gymnasium graduate, gave the speeches. Sarah Martens as representative of the student body and Vincent Rastädter as alumni representative rounded off the event.

The musical programme was provided by Schlagwerk Ossietzky under the direction of Axel Fries and singer-songwriter Philipp Kasburg.
