On Friday, 5 December 2025, the farewell ceremony for graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes took place in the lecture hall building of the University of Oldenburg.

130 graduates of the teaching degree programmes in primary, secondary and intermediate schools, grammar schools and special education were honoured in a ceremony by the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre. They were accompanied by their families, friends and partners.

Prof. Dr Andrea Strübind, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, and Prof. Dr Teresa Sansour, Vice Director for Teaching at the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre (DiZ), which coordinates teacher training at the university, gave the welcoming speeches. Nils Prior, graduate of the M. Ed. Gymnasium, gave a special speech from the ranks of the graduates with an impressive and inspiring science slam presentation for the future teachers.

The band Nouvel Amour provided the musical accompaniment to the ceremony.
