Oldenburg. The University of Oldenburg has bid farewell to graduates of the Master of Education programme. Firstly, 69 future teachers for primary, secondary and intermediate schools were presented with their degree certificates in a ceremony in the lecture theatre centre; in a second event, 72 future teachers for grammar schools and special schools were bid farewell.

Prof. Dr Sabine Kyora, Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Gender Equality, and Prof. Dr Matthias Schierz, Vice Director of the Didactic Centre, which coordinates teacher training at the university, gave welcoming speeches. The Oldenburg Trio Trésalle provided the musical framework for both celebrations.
