On Friday, 15 November 2024, the farewell ceremony for graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes took place in the lecture hall building at the University of Oldenburg.

119 graduates of the teaching degree programmes in primary, secondary and intermediate schools, grammar schools and special education were honoured in a ceremony by the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre. They were accompanied by their families, friends and partners.

Prof. Dr Andrea Strübind, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, and Prof. Dr Ira Diethelm, Director of the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre, which coordinates teacher training at the university, gave the welcoming speeches. Nadine Thomsen, a graduate of the Master of Education in Special Needs Education, gave a speech from the ranks of the graduates.

The soul and funk band Funkystition provided the musical accompaniment to the ceremony.
