On Friday, 16 May 2025, the farewell ceremony for graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes took place in the lecture hall building of the University of Oldenburg.

116 graduates of the teaching degree programmes in primary, secondary and intermediate schools, grammar schools and special education were honoured in a ceremony by the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre. They were accompanied by their families, friends and partners.

Prof. Dr Andrea Strübind, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, and Prof. Dr Teresa Sansour, Vice Director for Teaching at the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre (DiZ), which coordinates teacher training at the university, gave the welcoming speeches. Tjorben Meyer, graduate of the Master of Education Gymnasium, gave a speech from the ranks of the graduates.

The band Nouvel Amour provided musical accompaniment to the ceremony.
