A total of 65 graduates from the Master of Education degree programmes in primary and secondary schools, secondary modern schools, grammar schools and M.Ed. Special Education received their certificates in the Audimax on Friday.

After a welcome address by Prof. Dr Gunilla Budde, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Dr Jens Winkel, Managing Director of the Didactic Centre, and Linda Hüllmann, representing the student body, congratulated all graduates. Marianne Munzinger-Jothe, head of the seminar for primary, secondary and intermediate schools in Cuxhaven, gave the keynote speech, while Swantje Zipfel, a graduate of the primary and secondary school teaching degree programme, presented the course from the students' perspective.

The musical programme was provided by Schlagwerk Ossietzky under the direction of Axel Fries and the singer-songwriter duo Simon & Jan.
