Due to the consistently high number of registrations for our graduation ceremonies, the diz has decided to organise Master's graduation ceremonies twice a year again - usually in July and December. On Friday, a total of 80 graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes in primary and secondary schools, secondary modern schools, grammar schools and M.Ed. Special Education received their certificates in the Audimax. After a welcoming address by Prof. Dr Gunilla Budde, Vice President for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Dr Dietmar von Reeken, Vice Director of the Didactic Centre, and Swantje Zipfel, representing the student body, congratulated all graduates. Prof Dr Reinhard Schulz gave the speech on behalf of the teaching staff, while Christian Erbe - himself a graduate - looked back on their studies together in his speech. The jazz ensemble of the University of Oldenburg under the direction of Bernhard Mergner and the singer-songwriter duo "Spieltrieb" provided the musical programme.
