On Friday, 26 April 2024, the farewell ceremony for graduates of the Master of Education degree programmes took place in the lecture hall building of the University of Oldenburg.

99 graduates of the teaching degree programmes in primary, secondary and intermediate schools, grammar schools and special education were honoured in a ceremony by the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre. They were accompanied by their families, friends and partners.

Prof. Dr Katharina Al-Shamery, Vice President for Academic Career Paths, Equal Opportunities and International Affairs, and Prof. Dr Teresa Sansour, Vice Director for Teaching at the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre, which coordinates teacher training at the university, gave the welcoming speeches. Melda Yurdakul, graduate of the Master of Education Primary School, gave a speech from the ranks of the graduates.

The R&B and jazz band Rose amoures provided the musical accompaniment to the ceremony, which was rounded off by the student body Teacher Training Centre.
