Inter-faculty quality dialogue for the teaching profession (FüQL)
The cross-faculty quality dialogue for teaching is an exchange format within the framework of the quality management system of the University of Oldenburg. It is aimed at all teaching staff from Didactics and Educational Sciences (including Special Education and Business Education) from School I to V.
Topics
As part of university quality management, the FüQL corresponds to a study programme conference in the cluster. Central topics are inter-faculty topics on teacher training (e.g. school internships, central data and evaluation results, theory-practice interlinking, cross-phase teacher training, etc.) but also anomalies, questions and/or needs identified at the level of the faculty sub-programme conferences.
Cycle and structure
The cross-faculty quality dialogue for teacher training takes place annually (twice a year if necessary). The Chair is held by the DiZ Vice Director for Teaching. The meeting is organised in a staggered format to ensure time efficiency. All cross-teaching programme topics are dealt with in the first part of the meeting. The topics specific to the degree programmes will be dealt with in descending order according to those involved in the respective degree programmes (Master of Education Gymnasium, Primary School, Hauptschule and Realschule, Special Education and Business Education).
Securing results
The results of the "Inter-faculty Quality Discussion for Teacher Training" are documented in a report
sheet (minutes) and forwarded to the Teaching Council. If necessary, the Council suggests further work on the topics.
