Honours Programme
Honours Programme
Honours Programme
The programme is part of the project Programme for Excellence programme and was created to specifically support committed and talented Master's students from all disciplines who have a special interest in research, science and interdisciplinary work. The aim of the programme is to give students an in-depth insight into science and research during their studies.
Participating students benefit from an exclusive support programme that includes access to selected events, specialist lectures on the latest developments in science, business and society as well as individual (specialist) mentoring. This supports them in their academic career at an early stage and prepares them for a research-oriented future. In addition, the programme offers space to implement their own research projects in interdisciplinary teams and enables students to take part in exciting conferences.
By participating in the Honours Programme, students not only receive recognition for their special achievements, but also concrete impetus for their academic careers. The programme promotes the retention of talented students at the University of Oldenburg in the transition from Bachelor to Master and contributes to the recruitment of highly qualified junior staff from other universities.
The Honours Programme is more than an additional qualification - it is a platform for enthusiasm, development and the future. It enables students to become involved in the academic community at an early stage, acquire interdisciplinary skills and develop in an inspiring environment.
