An important role in the Honours Programme is played by Honours Support, an individual (specialist) support service that should be integrated into the programme as a basic building block. On the one hand, students receive individual support from the coordination team. On the other hand, students will receive professional counselling from supervisors . These are employees of the University of Oldenburg, come from academia and are usually from the same subject as the students. Students can either suggest their own mentor or be assigned a mentor by the programme.
