InfoDay 2021

Simply digital - digitally simple

Virtual Computing Science Information Day for prospective students

Thursday, 3 June 2021, 10 am - 4 pm

Due to the pandemic, the Info Day will take place online this year - via the interactive platform Gather.town. This is a kind of virtual building in which we recreate parts of the Department and in which our visitors can move around freely:

The use of the browser FireFox or Chrome is strongly recommended for participation!

Our information day gives prospective students the opportunity to get to know different areas of Computing Science in short lectures and to find out about the degree programmes. In addition to the lectures on the degree programmes, prospective students can also clarify their questions about studying Computing Science or Business Informatics and the teaching degree programmes in Computing Science in individual discussions with our student advisory service and talk to students. Videos and presentations from student projects as well as talks with students from the Computing Science and Business Informatics degree programmes round off the programme.

The lecture and information programme is offered in two parts: from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The lunch break from 12-14 o'clock is for free exploration.

As always, we welcome pre-registrations from groups at
But spontaneous participation without prior registration is also very welcome!
