Virtual Computing Science Information Day for prospective students

Thursday, 3 June 2021, 10.00–16.00

Due to the pandemic, this year’s Open Day will take place online – via the interactive platform Gather.town. This is a kind of virtual building in which we have recreated parts of the Department and where our visitors can move around freely:

We strongly recommend using the Firefox or Chrome browser to take part!

Our Open Day gives prospective students the opportunity to learn about various areas of Computing Science through short presentations and to find out more about the degree programmes. In addition to the talks on the degree programmes, prospective students can also clarify any questions they may have about Computing Science, Business Informatics or the teaching degree programmes in Computing Science during one-to-one discussions with our study counselling service and chat with current students. Videos and presentations from student projects, as well as discussions with students on the Computing Science and Business Informatics degree programmes, round off the programme.

The programme of talks and information sessions is divided into two parts: from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The lunch break from 12 noon to 2 pm is intended for you to explore the event at your leisure.

As always, we welcome advance bookings from groups at.
However, we are also very happy to welcome spontaneous participants without prior registration!
