I have been admitted as a lawyer since 1996 and initially worked for 5 years at the law firm Beiten Burkhardt (Berlin), after which I was a member of the management board of the Institute for Lawyers' Law and completed my doctorate at the University of Rostock.

From 2005-2022 I worked as an in-house lawyer in the regulation and compliance department of EWE TEL, and since 2011 also as compliance officer of EWE TEL and EWE VERTRIEB.
Since 10/2022 I have been Head of Legal and HR at Glasfaser Nordwest GmbH & Co KG (in-house lawyer).

In addition to my work as a lawyer and in-house lawyer, I have been a member of the board of the German Foundation for Law and Computing Science (DSRI) since 2008 and was also a board member of the German Society for Law and Computing Science (DGRI) from 2015-2023.

I am involved in legal education; in addition to teaching on the Master's programme in Information Law (since 2008), I train trainee lawyers and was a part-time member of the Berlin and Lower Saxony judicial examination boards for many years.

Since 2008, I have been teaching the Telecommunications Law module on the Master's degree programme in Information Law with Prof. Dr Holznagel with great enthusiasm. Every semester I look forward to getting to know new students and gaining an insight into their academic appointments. The degree programme not only stands for the teaching of practice-relevant content in information law, but also offers a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people and exchange ideas - even beyond the LL.M. degree.
