We are currently looking for a motivated student assistant to support research activities in biomaterials and scaffold biofabrication!

Student Assistant - HiWi (d/f/m)

40h/ Month | Initial contract: 4 months

Deadline: June 25th

Your tasks

  • Fabrication of biomaterial scaffolds using melt electrospinning and 3D printing
  • Support with material preparation and laboratory experiments.
  • Characterisation of scaffolds (e.g., microscopy...)
  • Documentation of experimental procedures and results
  • General lab organisation and support

Your profile

  • Enrolled student at Oldenburg university (required for HiWi employment)
  • Background in biomedicine, biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, materials science, or a related field
  • Experience with 3D printing or electrospinning is an advantage, but not required
  • Careful, structured, and reliable working style
  • Basic laboratory skills are an advantage
  • Good time management and punctuality, especially when preparing experimental samples
  • Willingness to support additional laboratory tasks and ongoing research projects
  • Good written and spoken English, the working language in the lab is English
