Structure and curricula of the Master of Education degree programmes in Computing Science
Programme structure
The four-semester Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree programmes in Computing Science build consecutively on the corresponding dual-subject Bachelor's degree programmes in Computing Science. Depending on the career goal, the M.Ed. degree programme in Computing Science comprises
- 45 CP (for the career goal of teaching at vocational schools),
- 30 CP (for the career goal of teaching at grammar schools) or
- 9 CP (for the professional goal of teaching at Hauptschulen and Realschulen).

With a standard period of study of 4 semesters, this results in an average workload of 30 CP per semester.
